Step 1: Log into Your Shopify Store

Log into your Shopify store.

Step 2: Enable Custom App

Before you can create a custom app for your store, you need to activate custom app development. You need to be the store owner or a staff member with the Enable app development permission to activate custom app development.

1. In the pop-up, select App and sales channel settings
2. From your Shopify admin, click on Apps in the left navigation menu
3. Click Develop apps.
4. Click Allow custom app development.
